Cecil by ArtofJefferyHebert
My Tribute to a magnificent example of a species. Many wonder why so much attention to this one animal? He was a symbol. A bench mark of his kind and an example of conservation efforts. I don't want to get into the specifics of his death, I just hope his passing serves a greater purpose now. In this past week, there has been more news about endangered species than I have ever seen. This can only be a good thing for the efforts by the organizations involved.
This was a warm up this morning that turned into a bit more as I watched the Today show and this story was talked about. #Cecil #worldwildlifefund #5forBigCats
Dawn At The Mountain by ArtofJefferyHebert
Dawn At The Mountain
In honor of my vacation starting tomorrow. Dawn at the Mountain has just about all that I like from nature. This was done on my phone at lunchtime today using Autodesk SketchBook for Android. I used a Wacom Intuos Duo stylus. Thanks to Keith Cowan for the awesome stash of Textures he's made available! #Nature #Wildlife #Landscape #Autodesksketchbook #Wacom
Diesel Commission by ArtofJefferyHebert
Diesel Commission
I delivered this guy to Samantha Coon and Tony Ezbicki today. It's not very often I get to hand deliver a commission, I have say if you ever get the chance, you should. Thank you for letting me paint this beauty boy for you. It was an honor.
This was done using AutodeskSketchBook for Mac with my Wacom Cintiq Companion Hybrid. I used the desktop and mobile version to complete it. Love the flexibility! #autodesksketchbook #Wacom #autodesk #SketchbookPro #digital #art #dog #portrait
The Flats by ArtofJefferyHebert
The Flats
Well with all the beach pictures crossing the feed, and since I can't be at the beach and Jess is home with the boys...I thought I'd bring the beach to her. "The Flats" at Skaket beach in Orleans MA are a happy place for my wife and Sister in Law.
This was done using Sketchbook for Android on my Wacom Cintiq Companion Hybrid. I hope you enjoy as well!

Lil Turtle
Another Lil Critter! These are a fun Patreon exclusive I'm doing. Join me for as little as a dollar a month and get your chance to request any crazy animal you like. From animals to mythical creatures to fan art of your favorite characters! Nothings off the table 😀 You also gain access to a time lapse of these being made (as soon as my software upgrade happens) as well the HD version without the branding. I'll be doing 1 to 2 of these a week so I can try and hit everyone's requests. So much fun!
This was done using sketchbook on my Mac with my Wacom Cintiq CH (Sketchbook for Android was acting up) and I got to use some great texture brushes by the incomparableKeith Cowann! Nice job man!…

Thank you for the tutorial on auto desk sketchbook! Your art really is beautiful and I'm super glad you could share your talent with the world in depth but... if you were a beginner like me what would you do?
ArtofJefferyHebert Featured By Owner Jun 24, 2015  Professional Digital Artist
Remember we were all beginners at one time! When I was starting out I would gather all the art fundamental books I could find and copy the drawings I saw and do the exercises. Any of the books from Andrew Loomis will help you along. Even if you are going for an anime style, knowing the fundamentals so super important.…
Also keep drawing! No matter how discouraged you may get (and there are days, months years that you might be) never stop. even if it's just doodling. Keep the spark alive. That's one of my biggest regrets in life. After high school I all but stopped drawing/painting. If only I kept at it, theres no telling where I'd be. Hope this helps :-) and thanks for the kind words!

Your words of wisdom are what keep my doing what I do. "Don't rush and put your stuff out there when your happy with it" I really appreciate that. Thank you very much!
